The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Berggren. The audience was convinced that Jonas Berggren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Bueno was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Caio da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jupiter Siemiatycze's Dobromir Klawki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Chong Sheppard got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Qikiqtarjuaq FC defense, Jonas Berggren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bueno. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Caio da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Dobromir Klawki. Jupiter Siemiatycze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jupiter Siemiatycze's Jarrod Bowen was substituted for Jonas Berggren.
