Ernesto Emmanuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ernesto Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neycho Sergiev in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Ás Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Botello Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitor Fandoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Emmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ege Træet was slow to take the kick. During this time Madison's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Madison's Ege Træet to fire away a dangerous shot which Botello Pinto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitor Fandoz in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Madison booed when FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gomez Arizabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Madison were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
