An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Latocha in the 16th minute of play forced Catalin Haldan's goalkeeper Olavi Liib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Cirilo Romo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of OLIVER ATHLETIC's Vecdi Bedel. Vecdi Bedel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frédson Melo to make the kick off. OLIVER ATHLETIC's Vecdi Bedel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save OLIVER ATHLETIC from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Gilbert Latocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olavi Liib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Latocha in the 94th minute of play. The OLIVER ATHLETIC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catalin Haldan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
