In the 16th minute of the match Rose Pigs got a corner. OLIVER ATHLETIC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Söderqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Harry Löfskog almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but OLIVER ATHLETIC's Vecdi Bedel did a great save. Rose Pigs's August Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birkan Cam in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Rose Pigs booed when OLIVER ATHLETIC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Vrancx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Stellan Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rose Pigs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stellan Bennet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vecdi Bedel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reine Månsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Gilbert Latocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Thidén having to interfere. After 38 played minutes OLIVER ATHLETIC got a freekick which was hit by Laurențiu Pârvan.
