In the 22nd minute, Yaji FC's Salvador Oxarra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Baldovino. Tomas Baldovino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Rogelio Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Yaji FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Jenaro couldn't finish the play. Yaji FC's Justino Lehoi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Segundo Esiquio in the 28 minute of the game. Rogelio Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Baldovino having to interfere. Erasmo Blasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Baldovino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Blasi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Acuña to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Yaji FC were awarded a corner. Salvador Oxarra went to the cornerflag to take it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Blasi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Jenaro came free, but Tomas Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Baldovino should have stopped the shot. Tomas Baldovino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Blasi in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Jenaro in the 66th minute of play forced Cura del Futbol's goalkeeper Tomas Baldovino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jimeno Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
