The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás De la Cruz got free with Leonard Backlund in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolás De la Cruz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Augusto Batalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Hagström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nicolás De la Cruz scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Backlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Backlund having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Karl-Johan Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosendahl Flyers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Johan Myr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Fidele in the 82nd minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Leonard Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Antonio Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antonio Fidele came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the A. Korn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Fidele couldn't finish the play. Edgar Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Batalla having to interfere. Antonio Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Leonard Backlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A. Korn had won after a very even match.
