Sarmiento de Resistencia's attentive Francis Sarmiento managed to snatch the ball when Valter Blom made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Rolando Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Sarmiento during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rosendahl Flyers booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Ekeroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Ekeroth in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Tommy Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Guerau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Backlund came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Rodolfo Guerau. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Guerau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 30th minute, Rodolfo Guerau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Backlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 35th minute, Rodolfo Guerau made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Backlund. Rosendahl Flyers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 40th minute, Rodolfo Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Guerau made a kick off. Rodolfo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance for a goal. When Rodolfo Guerau came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Guerau couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Guerau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Backlund was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Rodolfo Guerau's late challenge caught a Rosendahl Flyers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Guerau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Guerau to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Guerau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Backlund was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Leonard Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Guerau in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Rodolfo Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Guerau might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Backlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Guerau ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Guerau in the 81st minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Leonard Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rosendahl Flyers defense, Rodolfo Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Backlund. The Rosendahl Flyers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Backlund should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rosendahl Flyers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sarmiento de Resistencia.
