Kryspin Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Orlando Demario hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Newcastle United's Wlodzimierz Sokolski got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramon Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Diaz in the 19th minute of play. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Kryspin Wyrostek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Urki in the 24th minute. A. Korn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wlodzimierz Sokolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Cirilo Urki took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Kryspin Wyrostek to make any attempt to save it. Mikolaj Winszman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Diaz was the one to do the kick off. Cirilo Urki might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kryspin Wyrostek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Urki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Wyrostek having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 90th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Augusto Batalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A. Korn's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 93rd minute of play. Augusto Batalla was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Wlodzimierz Sokolski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wlodzimierz Sokolski really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2.
