The Newcastle United fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Newcastle United's Edward Lampa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 13 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Edward Lampa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Bergren was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Bronkala in the 21st minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Axel Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendahl Flyers's Axel Bergren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Wlodzimierz Sokolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Bergren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Wlodzimierz Sokolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Wlodzimierz Sokolski made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Rosendahl Flyers's Axel Bergren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wlodzimierz Sokolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Bergren having to make a save. In the 39th minute Arkadiusz Rojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Bergren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Cupial scored 0-7 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Bergren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wlodzimierz Sokolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Arkadiusz Rojewski got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rosendahl Flyers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wlodzimierz Sokolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Antoni Cupial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Axel Bergren made a huge save. The supporters of Rosendahl Flyers booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Rojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes, Remigiusz Bronkala made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Rosendahl Flyers's Axel Bergren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Edward Lampa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Axel Bergren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Rosendahl Flyers's Axel Bergren got control of the ball when Remigiusz Bronkala tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Rosendahl Flyers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Bergren should have stopped the shot. Axel Bergren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoni Cupial in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Rosendahl Flyers's Axel Bergren got control of the ball when Antoni Cupial tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Aaron Höijer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosendahl Flyers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-12. The Rosendahl Flyers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newcastle United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
