Cirilo Urki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldir Gaúcho came out and tried to block the shot, but Cirilo Urki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adan Sein, made in the 30th minute of the game. Waldir Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Diaz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cirilo Urki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when Amaury Hulsen came free, but Augusto Batalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Diaz in the 37th minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Batalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaury Hulsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A. Korn's Eugenio Cruz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adan Sein in the 44 minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amaury Hulsen was the one to do the kick off. Cirilo Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Gaúcho having to interfere. Augusto Batalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaury Hulsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Urki in the 65th minute of play.
