In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Waldir Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Aca Larroque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Waldir Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Guerau in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Guerau came free, but Waldir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Sarmento hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Rodolfo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tobias Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla Time. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Guerau to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ortiz in the 56th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cesar Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
