Dragolyub Dzhahov hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Zhu Yan Quan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victoria Toruń's protests and gave Zhu Yan Quan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Zhu Yan Quan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Gomolka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Borys Poreda made a huge save. Fragleses were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Victoria Toruń's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roch Dejo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragolyub Dzhahov in the 57th minute of play forced Fragleses's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naci Kac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Kim Hänninen made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Hänninen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naci Kac in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Fragleses's Conrado Cardozo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Gomolka in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes Victoria Toruń's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roch Dejo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wiktor Gomolka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Borys Poreda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Victoria Toruń made a substitution. Lóránd Szarka replaced Benedykt Kluska. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Victoria Toruń's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roch Dejo was slow to take the kick. During this time Fragleses's players had a chance to rest. If Grzegorz Rasiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The Victoria Toruń supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Victoria Toruń would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
