The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oiva Palsola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF THE T-REX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Yepes was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. Pavlin Yoshkov hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. CF THE T-REX's Oiva Palsola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Romeo Sanduru had to leave the field with a concussion. Stoycho Lazev charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stoycho Lazev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Peep Pronk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oiva Palsola was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Pavlin Yoshkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oiva Palsola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Peep Pronk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oiva Palsola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Raycho Zehirev threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC LeX Luthor's Matias Porfiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to CF THE T-REX getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dimo Tomchev hit a great ball. Mario Yepes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Oiva Palsola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC LeX Luthor. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind CF THE T-REX's goalkeeper Oiva Palsola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CF THE T-REX's zone, Karl-Axel Kielstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oiva Palsola came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Kielstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oiva Palsola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. When Peep Pronk, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oiva Palsola was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavlin Yoshkov. Oiva Palsola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half AC LeX Luthor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

CF THE T-REX made a substitution. Hristofor Pishmanov replaced Anko Adamov. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Lelekov was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Peep Pronk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF THE T-REX's Oiva Palsola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oiva Palsola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 62nd minute, Matias Porfiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando was substituted for Peep Pronk. AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero was substituted for Pancho Branca. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Matias Porfiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Gabriel Donov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Bomba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Otto Tenno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Oiva Palsola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 83rd minute of play forced CF THE T-REX's goalkeeper Oiva Palsola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Lelekov in the 86th minute of play. Oiva Palsola didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Oiva Palsola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvaro Errando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Isidro Oliviero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oiva Palsola. AC LeX Luthor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
