After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sasho Inkyov got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Kent Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matúš Beňo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Carmelo Sifon could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Kolkhis Papadakos however easily saved by the left post. Nikola Krstović scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luiz Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute of the game Alexander Torres made a throw-in which Dida Campidelis played forward. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Nicolás Guerrero with Nicolás Guerrero as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 18 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Nikola Krstović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Dida Campidelis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matúš Martin, made in the 25th minute of the game. Kolkhis Papadakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Sifon went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kolkhis Papadakos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 36th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kolkhis Papadakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Santamaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Dida Campidelis made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nicolás Guerrero immediately put the ball in play. Cristian Santamaria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alek Justus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sílvio Luiz Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Krstović in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alek Justus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano made a huge save. Kolkhis Papadakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Luiz Goiano, 2-4. Sílvio Luiz Goiano made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nikola Krstović sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Nikola Krstović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Real Madrid de Guatemala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikola Krstović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 88th minute, Nikola Krstović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luiz Goiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6.
