Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bon Guidetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Backlund having to interfere. Leonard Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bon Guidetti in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rosendahl Flyers defense, Bon Guidetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Backlund. The Rosendahl Flyers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Backlund should have stopped the shot. Bon Guidetti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonard Backlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Fred-Marc Richter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Bengt-Arne Pihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Pihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Rosendahl Flyers's Leonard Backlund got control of the ball when Bon Guidetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Calle Wanner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bon Guidetti in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Backlund saved Rosendahl Flyers from getting behind. Bengt-Åke Smitt came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rosendahl Flyers's Sonny Petersson. But to his dismay, Sonny Petersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Osvald Säv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mats Asklund. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Petersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Sonny Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rosendahl Flyers's Arman Lindholm got a free kick in the 58th minute. Bon Guidetti struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leonard Backlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karen FC. After 60 played minutes Rosendahl Flyers got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Galle. After a defensive mix-up in Rosendahl Flyers's zone, Bon Guidetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Backlund came out of the goal and Bon Guidetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Backlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bon Guidetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leonard Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Wanner in the 67th minute of the match. Mats Asklund hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Greger Odin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonard Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Wanner in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bon Guidetti in the 74th minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Leonard Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Dalman came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bon Guidetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Bon Guidetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. During the 84th minute of the match Mats Asklund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mats Asklund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mats Asklund hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Karen FC's Leif Sundén was substituted for Leo Ekeroth. Karen FC's Tomas Nordmark was substituted for Bengt-Arne Pihlberg. In the 86th minute, Mats Asklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Bengt Bergkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Karen FC were the better team. Karen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
