Yaşar Tuğbay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bon Guidetti went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Yaşar Tuğbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bon Guidetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaşar Tuğbay having to make a save. After 18th play minutes Bon Guidetti shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Yaşar Tuğbay and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bon Guidetti in the 21st minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Yaşar Tuğbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Karen FC booed when KOO Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadir Ustad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bon Guidetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOO Tigers's Yaşar Tuğbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KOO Tigers's Ulvi Yaltırak got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Bon Guidetti notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of KOO Tigers's Yaşar Tuğbay. Yaşar Tuğbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yaşar Tuğbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred-Marc Richter, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. KOO Tigers's Yaşar Tuğbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred-Marc Richter in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bon Guidetti made a kick off. Bon Guidetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaşar Tuğbay having to make a save. The KOO Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when KOO Tigers's Ulvi Yaltırak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Kadir Ustad was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. With an all-out effort, Karen FC's Yaşar Tuğbay threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bon Guidetti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yaşar Tuğbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bon Guidetti in the 64th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Bon Guidetti arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-4 by the left pole in the game's 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Bon Guidetti took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Yaşar Tuğbay to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 72 minutes, Hurşit Tamerk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOO Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hurşit Tamerk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Bon Guidetti lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Yaşar Tuğbay. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bengt Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaşar Tuğbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaşar Tuğbay was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Bon Guidetti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bon Guidetti really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. After 82 minutes, Bon Guidetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karen FC and the KOO Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Bon Guidetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Tamerk came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaşar Tuğbay didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Karen FC's Bon Guidetti shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Hurşit Tamerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bengt-Åke Smitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
