Silverio Jorrin succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Riverzone from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Mateo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeremias Ledesma firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jeremias Ledesma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Mateo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. With a little luck, Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Clodoveo Caetano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riverzone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nahitantino the free kick. Epifanio Txema hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Mateo. Rodrigo Transito hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Silverio Jorrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
A collision led to Nahitantino getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Anselmo Mateo hit a great ball. Israel Vergaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lex Dewolf in the 52nd minute. Israel Vergaray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Txema went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The Nahitantino fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Nahitantino's Anselmo Mateo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roberto Lizar struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jeremias Ledesma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nahitantino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Kempes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Nahitantino got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Oto. Evelio Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Israel Vergaray successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Silverio Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nahitantino's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Mateo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Ledesma was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th minute Anselmo Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clodoveo Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Ledesma having to interfere. Clodoveo Caetano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riverzone fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! There was no doubt that Nahitantino were the better team. Nahitantino's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
