The Riverzone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Ledesma should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Co Gøte got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Riverzone's Camilo Escobar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tim Hebel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riverzone reached it. In the 25th minute, Nikola Krstović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Vladimiro Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 32nd minute of play forced Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Ledesma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well placed Nikola Krstović short distance shot in the 91st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Nikola Krstović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Jeremias Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFK Petržalka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
