Jeremias Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Rosalio in the 13th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Gilberto Hernandez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Rosalio in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Ledesma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Hernandez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lex Dewolf sent off a good shot on target. When Riverzone's Lex Dewolf, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Riverzone. Gilberto Hernandez came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverzone's Epifanio Txema. But to his dismay, Epifanio Txema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Montay to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Kempes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Lex Dewolf dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Hernandez, 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Ramon Luzaide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Riverzone were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Cura del Futbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Camilo Escobar took the corner. Riverzone's Camilo Escobar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Hernandez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute Epifanio Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Santikurtz in the 42nd minute of play. Segundo Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gilberto Hernandez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lex Dewolf sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lex Dewolf to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lex Dewolf made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Hernandez. Cura del Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Melquiades Rosalio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cura del Futbol's protests and gave Melquiades Rosalio a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Rosalio. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alberto Ostadar hit a great ball. Gilberto Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Escobar in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Cristian Abadia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jeremias Ledesma, passed just outside the right post. Jeremias Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Evelio Paul hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Ramon Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Cura del Futbol defense, Mario Kempes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Hernandez. The Cura del Futbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Hernandez should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Kempes in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Kempes came free, but Gilberto Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Cura del Futbol's Cleto Santikurtz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Ledesma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The supporters of Riverzone booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Camilo Escobar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Hernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Saturnino Montay charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Montay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saturnino Montay hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Lex Dewolf put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Hernandez. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riverzone fully deserved thier win.
