Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Kempes in the 14th minute of play. Epifanio Txema scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th match minute, Riverzone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gattoni to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Riverzone's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Amaury Hulsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Kempes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riverzone's Epifanio Txema got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amaury Hulsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jeremias Ledesma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeremias Ledesma was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Jeremias Ledesma didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when Riverzone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Riverzone's Mario Kempes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 68th minute, Mario Kempes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Mario Kempes took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Waldir Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. Waldir Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lex Dewolf sent off a good shot on target. Mario Kempes got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With 84 minutes on the clock, Federico Gattoni commited a dangerous tackle. If Epifanio Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lázaro Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhalla Time's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riverzone's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
