Karen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. After 2 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Calle Wanner. Fred-Marc Richter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Bon Guidetti made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cleto Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gilberto Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Melquiades Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Abadia in the 28th minute of play. Cristian Abadia did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ma Yong Jun 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Segundo Esiquio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ma Yong Jun made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ramon Luzaide sent off a good shot on target. When Cura del Futbol's Cristian Abadia in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karen FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes of play, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ma Yong Jun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saturnino Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Segundo Esiquio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bon Guidetti made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Faustino Cordaryal hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Bon Guidetti came free, but Gilberto Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes, Bernardo Acosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cura del Futbol and the Karen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Karen FC booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gilberto Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Wanner came free, but Gilberto Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Montay. The throw-in from Faustino Cordaryal in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karen FC's Bengt Bergkvist. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Gilberto Hernandez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Luzaide in the 75th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's Ramon Luzaide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ma Yong Jun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Cleto Santikurtz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ma Yong Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Luzaide in the 87th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Melquiades Rosalio hit a great ball. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Luzaide in the 95th minute of play. Karen FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
