Ma Yong Jun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Flores in the 21st minute of the match. Lorenzo Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Waldir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Wanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The Valhalla Time fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Nils Ekeroth hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ma Yong Jun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
