An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Santikurtz in the 29th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Sifon made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Carmelo Sifon could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Gilberto Hernandez however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute Nicolás Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Sifon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gilberto Hernandez made a huge save. Gilberto Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Carmelo Sifon took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gilberto Hernandez to make any attempt to save it. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Santamaria in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Hernandez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Real Madrid de Guatemala's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
