Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Riverzone's Lex Dewolf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lex Dewolf in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lex Dewolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Örnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Mario Kempes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Egil Örnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Kempes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Örnberg having to make a save. Egil Örnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lex Dewolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Egil Örnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egil Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Txema in the 34th minute of play. Mario Kempes succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Egil Örnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Kempes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Örnberg came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverzone's Mario Kempes. But to his dismay, Mario Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Sandell to make the kick off. Mario Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Örnberg having to interfere. Lex Dewolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Transito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egil Örnberg. Rodrigo Transito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Bernt Abelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Lex Dewolf could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Egil Örnberg however easily saved by the left post. After 62 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Transito. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Lex Dewolf took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Egil Örnberg to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg got control of the ball when Lex Dewolf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lex Dewolf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Egil Örnberg made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Mario Kempes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Örnberg. The Wild Bunch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Kempes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Mario Kempes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg got control of the ball when Lex Dewolf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riverzone's Lex Dewolf was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 89th minute Mario Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, The Wild Bunch's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Kempes came free, but Egil Örnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 92 minutes on the clock, Pål Bergkvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Wild Bunch! The goalkeeper, Egil Örnberg, was totally fooled by Riverzone's Camilo Escobar, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match was over Riverzone could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Wild Bunch throughout the match.
