AFK Petržalka's Cosme Txilar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Täpäl Asadov, made in the 12th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valhalla Time fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When Adan Sein fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valhalla Time's protests and gave Adan Sein a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Valhalla Time was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Sein to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Checa shot from long distance in the 16th minute, but Waldir Gaúcho was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 18th minute Amaury Hulsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Hebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sasho Amiorkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Amaury Hulsen. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Krstović in the 55th minute of play. Hami Tükel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Amaury Hulsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFK Petržalka's Hami Tükel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amaury Hulsen in the 69 minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but Waldir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amaury Hulsen made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFK Petržalka's Cosme Txilar. Waldir Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek Justus in the 76th minute of the match. The AFK Petržalka fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when AFK Petržalka's Alek Justus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Waldir Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Krstović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Checa in the 88th minute. AFK Petržalka walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
