The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juvenal Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miki Jungslund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute of the match, Vygantas Vyšniauskas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abel Bueno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abel Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 狄昆傲's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Juvenal Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio da Rocha in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Caio da Rocha came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 狄昆傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Juvenal Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio da Rocha in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Qikiqtarjuaq FC were awarded a corner. Miki Jungslund went to the cornerflag to take it. 狄昆傲 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Bueno came out and tried to block the shot, but 狄昆傲 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vygantas Vyšniauskas made a great header on E.C. Galera's corner, it was just that Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno managed to reach the ball for a save. Paul Some tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Abel Bueno a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonzo Davidson to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes of play, E.C. Galera's 狄昆傲 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Miki Jungslund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miki Jungslund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Daron Keen replaced Wilber Leon. Juvenal Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to E.C. Galera getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Doriva Goiano hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio da Rocha in the 54th minute of play forced E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Juvenal Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 狄昆傲 in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bastien Aldridge was substituted for Gary Thomason. In the 63rd match minute, E.C. Galera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Goiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute 狄昆傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygantas Vyšniauskas in the 87th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Qikiqtarjuaq FC defense, Vygantas Vyšniauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bueno. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Bueno should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 狄昆傲 in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄昆傲 in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 狄昆傲 scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. E.C. Galera were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Qikiqtarjuaq FC for a fine match.
