Abel Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Børge Buhr in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Chong Sheppard got a free kick in the 21st minute. With an all-out effort, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Nichlas Vesterdahl threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ilgaz Şirvan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miki Jungslund. After 24 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Radim Gola. 26 minutes in the game Paul Some did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Quinton Marcheterre. Abel Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rodrigo Tome almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno did a great save. The corner led Randers A.F.C.'s Rodrigo Tome to fire away a dangerous shot which Abel Bueno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichlas Vesterdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl got control of the ball when Miki Jungslund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 43rd minute of play. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Daron Keen replaced Wilber Leon. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Rostholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Randers A.F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
