Botello Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Liu Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Botello Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FURIA MACHALEÑA S.C's Xurde Palmero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cecilio Martinez. That made the score 1-1 after 66 minutes of play.
