Red Reign's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Perla Norte the free kick. In the 11th minute, Xosepe Villamizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Villamizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Zigor Ardanza. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Perla Norte's Alfredo Ospin got a free kick in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Maximo Villamarin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Haritz. After 23 minutes Deportivo Perla Norte's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zigor Ardanza who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Perla Norte's Andres Frantzes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Maximo Villamarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tomás Haritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Alfredo Ospin in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Reign's Xavion Sorriva. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Xosepe Villamizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Kaviedes Cordova. Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Villamarin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Haritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Deportivo Perla Norte getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Andres Frantzes hit a great ball. Red Reign's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 71st minute of the game, when Zigor Ardanza after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Deportivo Perla Norte's goal. Zigor Ardanza was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Deportivo Perla Norte made a substitution. Luciano Uzuri replaced Delmiro Botello. Alfredo Ospin's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Ospin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Deportivo Perla Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Perla Norte's Ovidio Marques was substituted for Angel Baraquiel. In the 85th match minute, Deportivo Perla Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Villamarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tomás Haritz made a huge save. The throw-in from Primitivo Jokin in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Reign's Zigor Ardanza. Andres Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Deportivo Perla Norte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red Reign were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
