The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Matorin got free with Femke Bol in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Femke Bol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Black Rose 1979 were awarded a corner. Sebastian Enekoitz went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 34th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Davor Šuker came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
