After a defensive mix-up in Los Potrillos's zone, Jorge Porres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Figueroa came out of the goal and Jorge Porres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Porres in the 6th minute of play. Abelardo Cloyo scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Cordeara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cordeara having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Los Potrillos's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Porres came free, but Filiberto Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Platon hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Benjamin Cordeara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Cloyo in the 19th minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Abelardo Cloyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Potrillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Kilometro 30 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Porres to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Los Potrillos got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Rios. Enzo Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Garci charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Garci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Gregorio Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes, Los Potrillos's Raimundo Platon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Potrillos reached it. Guaberto Resto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kilometro 30 booed when Los Potrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilometro 30's Benjamin Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Cloyo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Abelardo Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa got control of the ball when Isidro Incendio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Cloyo in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Abelardo Cloyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benjamin Cordeara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Kilometro 30 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Potrillos were winning 0-3.
Benjamin Cordeara was a little too slow when Abelardo Cloyo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Benjamin Cordeara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Porres in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Figueroa saved Los Potrillos from getting behind. Filiberto Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 88 minutes, Tiburcio Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Potrillos and the Kilometro 30 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Tiburcio Mirande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Los Potrillos booed when Kilometro 30 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Cloyo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Cordeara saved Kilometro 30 from getting behind.
