When PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 13th minute Waldemar Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Soyuer. Turgut Soyuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Turgut Soyuer ran back to his position shaking his head. Turgut Soyuer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. PREZULO FC's Jarbas Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 20th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Soyuer. If Enzo-Nicolás Pérez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Turgut Soyuer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turgut Soyuer was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Éder Neto. Jarbas Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davor Šuker in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Turgut Soyuer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonza Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shi Xi Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Waldemar Matorin's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Ferreira came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Ferreira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. When PREZULO FC's Isaac Ferreira in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
