Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abelardo Cloyo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Waldemar Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Rose 1979 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 6 minutes of play, Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Potrillos's goalie prevented a goal. Filiberto Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Šuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Gerardo Hitz put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz. But to his dismay, Gerardo Hitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Abelardo Cloyo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Enzo-Nicolás Pérez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abelardo Cloyo. Gerardo Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Gerardo Hitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Filiberto Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 minutes Los Potrillos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Enekoitz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Black Rose 1979's corner Sebastian Enekoitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filiberto Figueroa quite easily take care of the ball. Filiberto Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davor Šuker scored 0-8 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Figueroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Hitz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gerardo Hitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Gerardo Hitz had several of the Los Potrillos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Filiberto Figueroa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Raimundo Platon hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Sebastian Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Rose 1979's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Enekoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Gerardo Hitz put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. Gerardo Hitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Filiberto Figueroa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71st play minute Gerardo Hitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filiberto Figueroa. 0-13. 74 minutes into the game, Waldemar Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Filiberto Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filiberto Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Hitz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Filiberto Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Gerardo Hitz notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Hitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Figueroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Hitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Davor Šuker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filiberto Figueroa came out and tried to block the shot, but Davor Šuker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-17 in the 88th minute. Filiberto Figueroa stood somewhat misplaced when Davor Šuker came free in front of goal and shot 0-18 to the left of him in the 91 minute. When the match was over Black Rose 1979 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Potrillos throughout the match.
