Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Valentin Voicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Soroca F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VILLARREAL UNITED were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Nofre Madariaga replaced Florian Pruss. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cyprien Combaz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 93rd minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
