An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 5th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Batistuta in the 6th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Rose 1979's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when King Scorpio scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, making the score, 1-0. A4p FC Gad's 邱振广 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by João Garcia, made in the 13th minute of the game. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, João Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A4p FC Gad:s Glenn Fyfe showed great skill when he stopped Sebastian Enekoitz:s penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Scorpio made a kick off. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Gerardo Hitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glenn Fyfe. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glenn Fyfe should have stopped the shot. After 56 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Damião. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 57th minute of play. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Anfilogino Manzi replaced Erasmo Damião. João Garcia hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Black Rose 1979 got a corner. A4p FC Gad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Enekoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Glenn Fyfe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Glenn Fyfe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Garcia's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio. But to his dismay, King Scorpio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Berceanu came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davor Šuker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Scorpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Black Rose 1979's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Davor Šuker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Glenn Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Berceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
