But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simone Spano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 24th minute of play forced Los Potrillos's goalkeeper Filiberto Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Potrillos's zone, Marcel da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Figueroa came out of the goal and Marcel da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Simone Spano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa. Filiberto Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filiberto Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 36th minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Los Potrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Cloyo to maneuver through the defense.
