In the 15th minute of the match, Hubert Sieberichs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Camilo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Mechanical Animals's Hubert Sieberichs in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Sieberichs, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Björn-Torben Mai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johann Hassel got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hubert Sieberichs to make the kick off. Jonas Maletz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Jonas Maletz in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Sieberichs in the 59th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johann Hassel in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Sieberichs in the 63rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Maletz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Hubert Sieberichs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Hubert Sieberichs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Maletz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Julien Ramusch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechanical Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Julien Ramusch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mechanical Animals's Jonas Maletz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Mechanical Animals from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Sieberichs in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mechanical Animals.
