The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigvard Njurenius. Sverker Hammarberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bruno Barrett was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stig Örtlund. Marshall Graham kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rolf Kihlberg hit a great ball. Maximilian Browald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Njurenius in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stanley Wallace recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordan Porter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Örtlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Sigvard Njurenius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 30 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Njurenius in the 31st minute of play. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Sigvard Njurenius. But to his dismay, Sigvard Njurenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sigvard Njurenius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Maximilian Browald came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. In the 39thth minute of the game Sigvard Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kyle Davies hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Sigvard Njurenius made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Sigvard Njurenius sent off a good shot on target.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanley Wallace was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Oxel Moron. In the 70thth minute of the game Sigvard Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Kenneth Persson. But to his dismay, Kenneth Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Oxel Moron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ola Käcker came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Käcker couldn't finish the play. Maximilian Browald took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 80 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Browald came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Troy Kennedy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Stig Örtlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Jakob Caspersson got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Sigvard Njurenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Manchester United's Sigvard Njurenius in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
