After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Aku Ylönen managed to get in a good position for a shot. phoinix fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Aku Ylönen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlitos Parodi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Acratas Unidos from getting a goal against them. Fausto Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Margus Paukson in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Acratas Unidos's Carlitos Parodi got control of the ball when Aku Ylönen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Incendio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlitos Parodi. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Aku Ylönen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Carlitos Parodi made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, phoinix fc's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Vall came free, but Fausto Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlitos Parodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Incendio in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Acratas Unidos's Enrique Theobald made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Nisio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fausto Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ospetsu in the 35th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Matthias Vall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acratas Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Vall to strike the kick off in the second half.
