Artur Curado hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Raimundo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Vallman in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Figo to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Pihlblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Delgado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Moutinho during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sílvio Moutinho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Aaron Vallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Delgado having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Real Grasacticos's Aaron Vallman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match, Romão Miranda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Finman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Vallman came free, but Raimundo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Bruno Silva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute, Bruno Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Sabrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Kvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when Real Grasacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Näfver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Finman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aristides Brochado. Patrício Poças who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Alex Finman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrício Poças blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Finman having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrício Poças stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Oskar Kruse kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Poças in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Brochado to maneuver through the defense. Garanhão do SUL's Filinto Coelho was substituted for Sílvio Moutinho. Ove Fredriksson's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Fredriksson helped the player get up and apologised. Ove Fredriksson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Alex Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Calçada in the 75th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Real Grasacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Calçada came free, but Alex Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's Filinto Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Finman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Calçada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Álvaro Calçada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garanhão do SUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Calçada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filinto Coelho in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Finman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronny Pihlblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
