A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Melker Sundström with Aaron Vallman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nicanor Dimas's late challenge caught a Real Grasacticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Vallman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Benigno Manilan made a huge save. If Aaron Vallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Melker Sundström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Siro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Elazar in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Finman saved Real Grasacticos from getting behind. Elof Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elof Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Elazar in the 27th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Aaron Vallman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan. Benigno Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elof Karlsson lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Grasacticos! 1-2 became the score in the 41st minute when Siro Elazar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Aureo. After the first half Sarmiento de Resistencia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Vallman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siro Elazar struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Alex Finman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Siro Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alex Finman made a huge save. Melker Sundström hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alex Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Mateus in the 85th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Siro Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
