Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ermegildo Llanos kicked off to start the match. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Brochado in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TALLERES's zone, Silvério Sabrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ciceron came out of the goal and Silvério Sabrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrício Poças in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TALLERES's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the TALLERES defense, Patrício Poças kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Ciceron. The TALLERES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Ciceron should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Poças in the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Llanos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrício Poças in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrício Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Ciceron having to interfere. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sílvio Moutinho hit a great ball. If Ermegildo Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Sabrosa came free, but Ubaldo Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Patrício Poças in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaldo Ciceron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Ciceron. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. When Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TALLERES's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in TALLERES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Patrício Poças recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Romão Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Ciceron was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Nunez Sustrai hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Romão Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Silvério Sabrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garanhão do SUL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Sabrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ermegildo Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Garanhão do SUL's Ubaldo Ciceron threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romão Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Álvaro Calçada succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 82nd playminute. Ubaldo Ciceron made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Álvaro Calçada sent off a good shot on target. TALLERES's Ubaldo Ciceron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES from getting a goal against them. The TALLERES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garanhão do SUL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
