Ulf Jakobsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulf Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurre Belorado in the 8th minute of the match. When Jan Wik fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valla Fc's protests and gave Jan Wik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's Jan Wik got a free kick in the 9th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Valla Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! 11 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Valente Nieva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulf Jakobsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. John Ambjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Oskar Wallmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's Magnus Söderquist got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Valla Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Söderquist to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valente Nieva in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Rosendal in the 33rd minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Alfredo Caneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Caneda having to interfere. Alfredo Caneda was a little too slow when Valentin Rosendal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-2. Aurre Belorado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Jakobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Ulf Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurre Belorado in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Rosendal made a kick off. Mancio Rapela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ulf Jakobsson made a huge save. In the 54th minute Oskar Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Caneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goalkeeper Ulf Jakobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurre Belorado. Mancio Rapela scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes, Fortunato Barcaiztegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the Valla Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per-Olof Wennerberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 64th minute, Leif Lund made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Caneda. Caaguazu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Oskar Wallmark scored 3-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Caneda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valla Fc's Ulf Jakobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Valla Fc from getting a goal against them. Aurre Belorado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ulf Jakobsson made a huge save. German Canado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ulf Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when German Canado came free, but Ulf Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
