Kajetan Kossakowski came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by TALLERES's Saul Fonso. But to his dismay, Saul Fonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Teobaldo Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Kossakowski came out of the goal and Teobaldo Txordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Milko came free, but Mario Cuenca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Teobaldo Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wlodzimierz Siwy in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Cuenca prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
