The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aaron Vallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. João Vítor Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Pihlblad in the 8th minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper João Vítor Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton de Alcântara in the 9th minute of the match. The Real Grasacticos fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Real Grasacticos's Ronny Pihlblad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alex Finman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erivaldo do Valle in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman got control of the ball when Erivaldo do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Holmgren came free, but João Vítor Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, São Wilson's Aírton de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Finman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 34th minute, Raphael de Queirós fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Vítor Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Aaron Vallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Grasacticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Vallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ronny Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Grasacticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Pihlblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erivaldo do Valle to make the kick off. Alex Finman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raphael de Queirós went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton de Alcântara in the 64th minute of play forced Real Grasacticos's goalkeeper Alex Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of São Wilson booed when Real Grasacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Erivaldo do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Wilson fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. João Vítor Seco was a little too slow when Ronny Pihlblad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 4-2. When Aaron Vallman came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Real Grasacticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Vallman couldn't finish the play. Real Grasacticos's Per-Oskar Kruse got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Finman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Raphael de Queirós notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Real Grasacticos's Alex Finman. Alex Finman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Vallman hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The São Wilson fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Grasacticos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
