Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stor Banan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Zberea in the 6th minute of play forced Sacri FC's goalkeeper Arvid Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming got control of the ball when Vasile Stoica tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sacri FC's Nils-Åke Lindell got a free kick in the 8th minute. Arvid Bremming made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Nicu Zberea sent off a good shot on target. Nicu Zberea took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvid Bremming. Arvid Bremming dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Nicu Zberea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arvid Bremming. Nicu Zberea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Sacri FC defense, Nicu Zberea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvid Bremming. The Sacri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvid Bremming should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, August Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompiliu Hâncu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stor Banan's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Pompiliu Hâncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Beneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Republica Ploiești booed when Sacri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Stor Banan came free, but Pompiliu Hâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Republica Ploiești made a substitution. George Ivăncioiu replaced Radu Marioteanu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Zberea was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Iulian Zburliş got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes, August Mattsson made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pompiliu Hâncu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Rudqvist's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. August Mattsson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If August Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Zberea charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicu Zberea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nicu Zberea hit a great ball. Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Republica Ploiești from getting a goal against them. Pompiliu Hâncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Rudqvist in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Republica Ploiești getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vasile Stoica hit a great ball. Sacri FC's Max Sandström was substituted for Fredric Rudqvist. In the 82nd minute, Vasile Stoica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pompiliu Hâncu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Lindell in the 85th minute. Cosmin Chiriță hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Nicu Zberea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Sandström in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Max Sandström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pompiliu Hâncu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Republica Ploiești's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
