In the 12th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shelby Bonner to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Stowe City's Cristobal Weathers in action when he in the 17th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Juliusz Milko succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 22 minutes into the match, DeAngelo Guevara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that DeAngelo Guevara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Terrence Thome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Siwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Terrence Thome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Siwy's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. DeAngelo Guevara scored 1-4 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juliusz Milko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Cristobal Weathers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Kossakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Weathers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Radowit Janiczek hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Wlodzimierz Siwy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by DeAngelo Guevara in the 44th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kajetan Kossakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, DeAngelo Guevara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Stowe City made a substitution. Dante Ham replaced Bruce Cornell. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wlodzimierz Siwy made a kick off. If Billy Hardy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrence Thome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Billy Hardy came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Stowe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Hardy couldn't finish the play. Stowe City's Leon Hadley was substituted for Lyle Dill. In the 70th minute, Dante Ham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Gustaw Nuszkowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terrence Thome skillfully saved the ball. Leon Hadley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kajetan Kossakowski made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Stowe City's Billy Hardy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kajetan Kossakowski. That made the score 1-6 after 73 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, DeAngelo Guevara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that DeAngelo Guevara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. In the 83rd minute, Dante Ham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stowe City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. After 89 played minutes, Newcastle United's Radowit Janiczek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Terrence Thome came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newcastle United reached it. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Hardy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stowe City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
