Oskar Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Caaguazu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurre Belorado in the 27th minute. Henning Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aurre Belorado sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rosendal came free, but Dagoberto Alcalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valla Fc's attentive Sakarias Persson managed to snatch the ball when Fortunato Barcaiztegui made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by German Canado. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Valente Nieva hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes, Valla Fc's Per-Olof Wennerberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dagoberto Alcalde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valla Fc reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Henning Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurre Belorado in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Franko Estades made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Forsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gomesano Cantillo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Franko Estades fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Forsberg having to interfere. Caaguazu's Aurre Belorado got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Mancio Rapela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 73 in the game by Oskar Wallmark from a close distance when the talented Dagoberto Alcalde managed to make a qualified save. Caaguazu's players were relieved. Caaguazu's Cordareo Lazcano was substituted for Otsando Oterino. Valentin Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. During the 76th minute of the match Valentin Rosendal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valentin Rosendal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Valla Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Rosendal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
