The tension between the Sarmiento de Resistencia and the TALLERES players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, Saul Fonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benigno Manilan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siro Elazar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Cuenca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Elazar in the 20th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Siro Elazar came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Elazar couldn't finish the play. Bernabe Rolado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Siro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Cuenca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Elazar's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Mario Cuenca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Mambru in the 34th minute of the match. Basilio Mateus's late challenge caught a TALLERES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Mateus helped the player get up and apologised. Basilio Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Benigno Manilan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Fonso. Rodolfo Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TALLERES's Saul Fonso got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Simon Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Txaran took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Manilan. Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mario Cuenca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Elazar in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Elazar to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Basilio Mateus got a free kick in the 51st minute. Siro Elazar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Mario Cuenca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Sarmiento de Resistencia defense, Bernabe Rolado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Manilan. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Manilan should have stopped the shot. When Siro Elazar came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Elazar couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julián Maidana during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Julián Maidana. Mauricio Ruisko's late challenge caught a Sarmiento de Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Ruisko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Mauricio Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Mario Cuenca made a huge save. Siro Elazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Cuenca could save by the left post. Basilio Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarmiento de Resistencia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TALLERES.
