The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manole Miulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fanis Geronimidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Armageddon were awarded a corner. Qian Jie Yuan went to the cornerflag to take it. Marko Ööpik came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Belotaurus FC's Silviu Novac. But to his dismay, Silviu Novac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Miulescu in the 16th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Armageddon got a freekick which was hit by Qian Jie Yuan. Marko Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Cordeiro in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Armageddon's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Vianna came free, but Marko Ööpik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Gunnar Westerstrand drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper. Manole Miulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanis Geronimidis having to make a save. Manole Miulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fanis Geronimidis made a huge save. Fanis Geronimidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Miulescu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Manole Miulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Fanis Geronimidis managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Armageddon's Manole Miulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41stth minute of the game Olaf Kööp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manole Miulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Geronimidis having to interfere.

Armageddon's Giancarlo Antognoni was substituted for Adolf Kadastik. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Miulescu to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Manole Miulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fanis Geronimidis was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Fanis Geronimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Miulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Miulescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fanis Geronimidis. A collision led to Armageddon getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Michel Legdeur hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Silviu Novac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armageddon's Marko Ööpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Legdeur in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Marko Ööpik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rui Cunha made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Waldemar Schmidt. Fanis Geronimidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Legdeur's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Legdeur in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Geronimidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Michel Legdeur sped through Belotaurus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fanis Geronimidis. Fanis Geronimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Legdeur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Armageddon's Qian Jie Yuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Fanis Geronimidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Armageddon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belotaurus FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
